Winning a Penalty Shootout was created by sokratees9
Hi all,
I ve been playing Amiga SWOS for years (various versions, but mostly 96/97, amd 99.9% of the time against the CPU), and one thing that has always frustrated me was penalty shootouts. I rarely win them. Am I missing something? I score most of the time, but my keeper never saves, or if he does, it s once every fews years (real life, not SWOS career years). Is there something I should be doing when saving? I m under the impression that he s also CPU controlled for the shoot out.
When shooting, I usually either quickly aim one was (up-left or up-right) and shoot, or sim one way then flip to the other. Any other shooting strategies?
Cheers,
Sok

I read somewhere that underdogs never win penalty shootouts in swos, meaning that if your team is worse, you will lose no matter what.
So its decided on in-game player skill stats.
