can someone show me pictures on how to set the amiga onto the tv or monitor please. on the AV channel my amiga appears to be in black and white :

What kind of cable do you use to connect the Amiga? RGB -- SCART?

I have a RGB, scartt and RF cables. but I use the scart lead, I ve also tried the RF cabel too.

Hm, normally it should work fine with RGB and Scart.
Do you have more than 1 AV channel? Try them all...

well when I plug it in from the scart lead I just get like a grayish scren but can see the amiga start up scren
