For #sensible (ans all other IRC chatrooms) I use mIRC. It s simply because when I start to chat on IRC I first find mIRC and I like it very much. I try dana, but don t think it was usefull for me because I don t find the same funktion like in mIRC. So I never try an other IRC Client.

telnet irc.quakenet.org 6667 ![;-) ;-)](/media/kunena/emoticons/wink.png)
obviously I m joking....i often use ChatZilla (really easy to use) and X-Chat (imho the best IRC client!). sometimes i also make use of some multi-protocoll software like Trillian or PidGin.
all this SW work fine with no problems...

Easy to solve:
Open options and tick as shown on the pic (+ extend file size if needed)
That saves the complete channel log!
For single users, just add them to your contact list with the + sign (open a new group for them maybe).

One problem with Miranda - maybe because I m doing something wrong...: I can t find history of IRC conversations... maybe that s because IRC users are not permanent contacts on Miranda list... in dana there were logs for every conversation - even the whole channel history
